Setting, view and proximity to Poas. Cook/cleaner wad very nice, personable and helpful.
Heater much too small and inadequate for the room. We froze all night and our son caught a cold. The girl that checked us didn't seem to want to be there and disappeared quickly. Would have been nice to know where to go if we needed something.
We loved this hotel! The room was modern and comfortable, which was set on ranch style property. The breakfast was a traditional costa rican breakfast made hot and fresh by the owner. The cheese came from the cows we could see out our window! The location is great, just 3km from the volcano. We would have stayed here 3 days if we had known.
We arrived late (after 10pm) and the gate was locked. We tried to call several times but there was no answer. And we got lost getting there because the gps didn't have their name so we had to use the corrordinates which were totally wrong. Everyone is super nice in Costa Rica so we found it ok in the end.
